Old Business Research April 25, 2008, at Hughston Auditorium: expense None Conference Report report $712. Expenses up due to cost of Three Rivers. Annual Conference Dr. Noviello reported that endowment monies are still Pending; Dr. Noviello & Dr. Report, April 08 in the budget, but that no further information Goyne available from proposed speakers. New Business Membership List of active members distributed; emails updated. Birgit Gatlin Introduced – Ms. Gatlin will the be contact person for communication for the Pi Beta Chapter Dr. Linn Storey, Dr. Storey reviewed process for joining the Pi Beta Prospective members Community Chapter – an on-line application is available under the encouraged to consider joining. Counselor CSU, Nursing, Pi Beta site. Once completed, the application is reviewed, and nominee(s) invited to join. Induction of BSN students will be May 15, 2008. Community leaders may be inducted during regular meetings. Synovus Account Use of available funds discussed – possible projects Subcommittee formed to (treasury) include a Book Scholarship and/or funding for a consider & present options. Research Class Project.
