<p>Creating Layouts and Viewports</p><p>To create a new layout tab</p><p>1. Toolbar: Layouts </p><p>2. Command entry: layout Enter layout option [Copy/Delete/New/Template/Rename/SAveas/Set/?] <set>:</p><p>Note Many of these options are available by right-clicking a layout tab name.</p><p>To create a new layout viewport using the Ribbon 1. On the Ribbon, Click View tab Viewports panel New. 2. In the Viewports dialog box, New Viewports tab, under Standard Viewports, select Single. 3. Click to specify one corner of the new layout viewport. 4. Click to specify the opposite corner. 5. A new layout viewport object is available and displays a default view. To adjust the view, double-click within the layout viewport to access model space.</p><p>Toolbar: Viewports </p><p>To create a new layout viewport using the command entry 1. Command entry: mview 2. Specify corner of viewport or [ON/OFF/Fit/Shadeplot/Lock/Object/Polygonal/Restore/LAyer/2/3/4] <Fit>: Enter an option or specify a point</p><p>To modify layout viewport properties using the Properties palette 1. Click the border of the layout viewport whose properties you want to modify. 2. Click View tab Palettes panel Properties 3. In the Properties palette, select the value for the property you want to modify. </p><p>Toolbar: Standard </p><p>Command entry: PROPERTIES</p><p>Command entry: MVSETUP</p><p>Shortcut menu: Select the viewport and right-click in the drawing area. Click Properties.</p>
