<p>UNOFFICIAL COPY AS OF 04/05/18 06 REG. SESS. 06 RS BR 1795</p><p>A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Reneva Sparkman Bradley. WHEREAS, Reneva Sparkman Bradley departed this life January 29, 2006, and the members of this august body pause in silent reverence for her soul; and WHEREAS, Reneva Sparkman Bradley, a lifelong resident of Letcher County, was a retired school teacher, having passed on her love of learning and achievement to thousands of school children during her tenure of 31 years in the Letcher County school system; and WHEREAS, in addition to her devotion to family and her students, Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Gordon Fire Department, the Retired Teachers' Association, and the Sandhill Baptist Church; and WHEREAS, Reneva Sparkman Bradley was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley and Nancy Lewis Sparkman, as well as several brothers and sisters; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Bradley is survived by her husband, Merlin Bradley of Gordon; two children, Charles Stacey Bradley of Gordon, and Kimberly Sue Cornett of Cumberland; six grandchildren, Charles McKinley Bradley, Hunter Bradley Cornett, Whitney, Nathaniel, and Philip Gilliam, and Dylan Cornett; two brothers, Arnold Riddle and Colon Sparkman; and three sisters, Oakie Powell, Lonnie Cornett, and Hazel Skidmore; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the loss of Reneva Sparkman Bradley leaves heavy the hearts of her family, her friends, and her entire community; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1.
