
<p> Dave Bennett’s Roots of Pop “Swing to Rock” QUARTET</p><p>Technical Rider for AIR TRAVEL engagements (see Note #1, below, for car travel tech. requirements)</p><p>Employer provides:</p><p>MUSICAL GEAR</p><p>- tuned acoustic grand piano - professional quality acoustic string bass…i.e.: instrument supplied by a professional jazz or orchestra player, (avoid music store rentals, if possible) working adjustable bridge, reasonably new strings, even fingerboard with no buzzing or bad/un-true notes, adjustable rubber end pin - bass amplifier with pick up - 4 piece drum kit, complete, exclusive of cymbals…(preferred sizes: 14 x18” bass drum; small tom 8 x 12”; floor tom 14 x 14”; snare 13” or 14”) include throne, kick pedal, all hardware= high hat stand plus 3 cymbal stands, tuning key. Preferences in order: Gretsch, Pearl, Yamaha, Slingerland, Ludwig…other brand names - guitar amp (prefer Fender Twin Reverb) - guitar stand </p><p>NOTE #1: FOR ENGAGEMENTS WITHIN CAR TRAVEL DISTANCE FROM DETROIT (USUALLY UNDER 350 MILES)… ONLY THE PIANO NEED BE SUPPLIED FROM ABOVE LIST.</p><p>SOUND GEAR</p><p>- house P.A. gear suitable for acoustic 4 piece combo including individual stage mics for : clarinet; piano, drums as needed, Mics for vocals by Dave Bennett (standing while playing guitar) and another vocal mic on straight stand at treble end of piano.
