<p> Mrs. Mujkanovic Rm. 313 (Sociology) I have a webpage that all students and parents can access 24 hours a day. On theWebsite: class notes, rules and expectations, projects, and quizzes. **Go to www.trschools.k12.wi.us **On the left hand side, choose staff directory **Type in Mujkanovic and then click “search” **Click on Website</p><p>Classroom Rules and Expectations</p><p>1. Be in your seat when the bell rings. Each student gets 2 “late to class because I have to go to the bathroom” passes. You need to check with me prior to leaving. You will need to sign out and sign in.</p><p>2. Homework and project are to be handed in on time. You must turn it in during the class period that it is due. Work that is not turned on time will result in a 0.</p><p>3. You are to remain in your seats until the bell rings.</p><p>4. If you don’t understand something that I am lecturing or discussing, it is your job to ask me to explain it again.</p><p>5. If you miss class for any reason, it is your responsibility to get the assignment or notes from me or another student. I expect you to get missed work during the resource period or from my website. I will not take class time to catch you up on what you missed. It is your responsibility. </p><p>6. Behavioral problems in class will result in detentions in my room after school at 3:15. Failure to show will result in a. Double detention b. Office referral c. Parents contacted d. Request to have you removed from the class permanently</p><p>7. If you need extra help, see me during the resource period. 8. I do not allow students to leave the room for any reason. If it is an emergency or urgent request, I may allow it, but you will make up the time after school. (you can use your “late to class passes” as well, but remember, once they are gone…they are gone)</p><p>9. If you leave the classroom for any reason (at my discretion) such as student council meeting, band lessons, etc., you will have to make up the time missed after school.</p><p>10. There will be a quiz almost every Friday (or the last day of the school week). Make- up times for excused absences are Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday during resource. I will also allow it during your lunch hour on Monday (just let me know so I can be sure to be there).</p><p>11. Cell phones should be on the corner of your desk. They should only be used upon teacher approval.</p><p>12. The projects are due on the date that they are due…NO EXCEPTIONS! Failure to have the projects in class on the assigned day will result in a 0.</p><p>13. Cheating consequences will follow the student handbook. Also, in addition to the handbook procedure, a student that cheats on a quiz, assignment, or project will not be allowed the use of any notes, quizzes, or assignments on the semester exam.</p><p>14. Grading Homework 20% Projects 30% Quizzes 50%</p><p>In order to pass the class, students must show proficiency on the 2 classroom projects. If a student has enough % to pass, but does not complete the projects, that student will be unable to pass the class. 1ST HALF OF THE SEMESTER Culture project 2ND HALF OF THE SEMESTER Personality project</p><p>Quarter 3 40% Quarter 4 40% Final 20% Sociology – Mrs. Mujkanovic</p><p>Keep the top half of this page for future reference.
