<p> Global Business Supply Chain Simulation The Global Business Supply Chain Simulation (GLO-BUS) is an online, computer-based exercise modeled to reflect the real-world character of the globally competitive digital camera industry in which you or your team run a company in head-to-head competition against companies run by other individuals or teams. You will learn how competitive decisions and collaboration are vital to success in managing the global supply chain. You or your team will make up to 50 decisions about research & development, product options, production operations, worker compensation, pricing, marketing, advertising, social responsibility, quality, distribution, and financing. Success is based on earnings per share (EPS), return on equity (ROE), credit rating, stock price, and image rating.</p><p>Simulation Process: Step 1 – Participants register for the simulation at www.apics-foxriver.org and pay the $50 simulation administration for the experienced, guided instruction and interaction during the six-rounds of the simulation. Step 2 – The Simulation Administrator will provide the GLO-BUS registration access code to each participant after they have paid the simulation administration fee. Step 3 – Participants register online at www.glo-bus.com for the simulation and pay $42.95 for the GLO-BUS Simulation ONLY. Step 4 – After registering for the GLO-BUS Simulation, participants will download the GLO-BUS Participant’s Guide to read and understand how the GLO-BUS Simulation works, along with the detailed instructions for a successful simulation experience. Step 5 – Participants will have the opportunity to make up to 50 supply chain decisions for each of the six rounds of the simulation.
