This room tends to make lots of odd sounds due to the amount of metal creating a acoustically loud environment.

Private Mess Hall Room- Andrew and Justin hear several loud slamming sounds coming from out in the main mess hall area. Sounded almost like lunch trays.

Berthing Areas- A very faint whistle was heard by Andrew, Greg and Tori, almost sounded like a “come here” rhythm.

Top Deck and Tomahawk Missile Area- Andrew, Alex and Chelsea K. all hear a loud bang coming from the interior of one of the Tomahawk missile compartments.

Refrigeration Area- Andrew, Alex and Chelsea hear a male breath, a man or possibly woman talking, and a very loud banging sound.

Andrew and Tori hear a Male breath and a possible whisper.

Passage way near Crew Mess Hall and Galley- Andrew hears loud banging and footsteps on a ladder right next to him as he walks by leading up to a sealed hatch! Debunking/ Alternative possibilities to paranormal

- High EMF Fields are present in the Command Center room around light sockets and switches, debunking feelings of uneasiness in the room.

-Lots of metal pipes and ship groans can cause people to believe they are hearing something paranormal.

-There is water dripping sounds near the Crew Mess Hall that can be mistaken as paranormal and in other parts of the ship as well.

-There is a natural tapping sound coming from the refrigeration space, but the source sounds like possibly dripping water.

-In the refrigeration space, the floor can be warped in spots where it is just sheet metal, and can cause you to think you are hearing a sound from further away that is actually being caused by the bending sheet metal.

-Lots of dark passageways and dim lighting can create natural shadows from your flashlights.

-Readings of High EMF Fields on the Top Deck are very consistent, meaning that they are likely caused by natural electrical sources such as power lines, street lights, ship lights and electrical, and even radio interference. Empirical Evidence

Video Evidence:

Galley: Andrew and Justin captured an intelligent response to a question in the Galley on the K2 meter.

Audio Evidence:

Refrigeration Area: Male breath, talking, and a loud bang heard by Andrew and Alex around 1030pm, also male breath heard by Andrew and Tori later around 3am.

Crew Mess Hall: Andrew and Justin hear crashing sound and smaller bang sound around 130am.

Passageway near Crew Mess Hall and Galley: Ladder shakes or is stepped on violently as Andrew and Justin pass it around 145am.

Photo Evidence:

None Conclusion and Classification

Summary and Opinion:

This was truly the Investigation of a lifetime! Investigating the USS Wisconsin was a great test for the team and a big break for the ODGH. This historic Battleship proved to be one of the most active places we have ever investigated. Although we didn’t have any visual sightings or much substantial video proof, the auditory experiences and evidence doesn’t lie. Between capturing various disembodied voices, as well as extremely loud sounds, and most importantly intelligent interaction with questions we asked, we must say that the USS Wisconsin is incredibly active and in fact haunted. The ship seems to be trying to communicate some sort of message from sailors past. We don’t give out the Haunted classification very often, but the overwhelming evidence just shows that something or someone is just trying really hard to communicate aboard the ship. In addition to the wonderful investigation, The Haunted Ship Tour Project worked out great as well, and we would like to give a special thanks to Stephen Kirkland of Nauticus for making it all possible. We had a truly remarkable time investigating this beautiful ship and hope to return again in the future!

Classification:

Level 4- Haunted

More details on classification meanings on website (www.odughosthunters.com).
