A male age around 18/20 years, height 5’4”, wheatish complexion, oval face, normal built, wearing grey pant light green with red green lining shirt, found on 4-8-2009. 2. A male age around 25/30 years, height 5’8” shallow complexion, oval face, wearing light checkdar shirt, grey nikker, found on 6-8-2009. 3. A female age around 22/23 years, height 4’6”, wheatish complexion, oval face lanky built, wearing white dhoti and gulabi shirt, found on 6-8- 2009. 4 A male age around 55 years, height 5’6”, wheatish complexion, long face, medium built, wearing shirt and lungi, found on 3-8-2009.</p><p>PRESS RELEASE</p><p>Today on 7th August 2009, the Passing Out Parade of 33rd Batch of Probationary Sub-Inspectors was held at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi. Probationary Sub-Inspectors took the oath in a colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi. Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Tejendra Khanna, took the salute of the marching contingent. The Parade was attended by Shri Y.S. Dadwal, Commissioner of Police, Delhi and other senior officers of Delhi Police. This batch is highly qualified. Out of 612, 85 are post graduates, 4 LLB, 11 B.tech., 516 are graduates coming from the length and breadth of the country. This is the largest batch of PSIs given training so far in Delhi Police. They have been given training in law, human behaviour, police science, police practical work, police rules, criminology, terrorism and computer related crimes etc.. Short modules were also organized for them on Juvenile Justice Act, Gender Sensitization and protection of women from Domestic Violence Act. This was the first time when Delhi Police has outsourced Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University to train them exclusively in Law. In the outdoor subjects, they were imparted training on drills, handling of weapons, motorcycle driving, firing practice and special emphasis on Unarmed Combat and physical fitness including toughness of the body and stamina building. They have carried out firing practice with all the weapons which are normally taken by police officers on duty, like .303 Rifles,, .38 Revolver, 9 mm Pistol, AK-47, SAF and SLR. Modern techniques for their firing practice have been adapted e.g. Fire Arms Training Simulator. Their training also included a module on Commando Training which includes extra efforts on UAC, obstacles and intensive firing practice with small weapons. In his address, Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi advised them to remain ready to serve the Public and ensure safety and security of Public and should perform their duty with honesty and loyalty. Lastly, Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi congratulated them for the successful completion of their training and hoped that they should always remain ahead of time by improving their professional skills to serve the public of Delhi with more humanitarian approach. He congratulated the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, also, for providing security and maintenance of law and order to control crime in Delhi.</p><p>SPECIAL CELL DATED 07.08.2009</p><p>A team of officers of Special Cell led by Insp. Lalit Mohan Negi and Insp. Hridaya Bhushan under the supervision of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, ACP Special Cell, apprehended two PAK trained terrorists Javed Ahmad Tantray @ Sikander and Ashiq Ali Batt @ Faisal of Hizb-ul-Muzahiddin , a banned terrorist outfit, alongwith huge consignment of arms, ammunition and explosives. </p><p>During the last few days, inputs were being received that terrorists of different organizations have been planning to strike in Delhi. This information was further developed. On 6.08.09 specific information was received that two terrorists of Hizbul Mujahidin with cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, had left from Jammu to Delhi in a white Santro car having registration No. HR- 36C-3036 and will reach Daryaganj area. Three teams were deployed at strategic points i.e. Singhu border, Bypass and Daryaganj area. The Santro car bearing No. HR-36C-3036 was spotted at Singhu border and followed tailed upto the parking of Mahavir Vatika, Darya Ganj, Delhi. The occupants of the car waited for some time and when they were about to move, the two terrorists later on identified as Javed Ahmad Tantray @ Sikander r/o Distt-Kupwara, J&K and Ashiq Ali Batt @ Faisal r/o Distt-Kathua, J&K, were apprehended. Search of santro car led to the recovery of arms, ammunition and explosives concealed under the rear seat and the cavity of front left side door of the car. </p><p>Recoveries :-</p><p> Two AK-47 assault rifles  Four magazines of AK-47 assault rifles containing total 120 rounds (30 rounds in each magazine).  Two hand grenades - Spl. HGr 84  One Santro car No. HR -36C-3036 white colour.  Two fake identity cards issued from district magistrate Kupwara and Anantnag in the name of Javed Ahmad and Ashiq Ali found from their respective purse.  Cash Rs.25,410/-. </p><p>A case under the appropriate sections of law has been registered at PS Special Cell , Lodhi Colony, New Delhi. Both the accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation wherein Ashiq Ali revealed that in the year 2003, when the terrorism was at its peak in J&K, some terrorists of Doda District namely Khatib, Iliyas, Umar Farooq and Gazi came and motivated him to join militancy. In August 2003, he left Kashmir and joined these terrorists in the jungle of Kathua. During this period he was imparted religious training and motivated for Jehad and also assigned a code name “FAISAL”. </p><p>Later, he was introduced to one Ehsan by Umar Farooq, who took him to Pakistan for militant training, along with 60 other boys. On 30/08/03 they crossed Sonad Border and took militancy training at Boi Camp, Mujaffarabad, POK. After completion of his basic training he along with other terrorists took weapon training at “AATH MUKAM” Camp, Mujaffrabad, POK. </p><p>In the year 2004 after completion of the weapon training he was issued an identity card of Mujaffarabad, Pakistan in the name of Ashiq. Since then he remained in Boi training camp and visited several places in Islamabad, Karachi, Rawal Pindi and Mujafarrabad and met several members of the organization (HM) including Peer Sayed Salauddin- H.M supreme commander, Khalid Saifulla -Dy. Commandar of HM, who through their provocative lectures motivated them for Jehad and to fight for Liberation of Kashmir.</p><p>Javed in his interrogation has revealed that in 1997 three terrorists of Hijb- ul-Mujahideen (HM) namely Riyaz, Tarique and Dilawar motivated him to join HM. After a few days he along with 10 other boys crossed the border under the leadership of Sher Khan and Tajdeen via Korna Border. He reached at Leepa Camp Office of HM and took militancy training at Mansora Training Camp, Sube Sarhad. There they were taught to fight against the Indian Army and police. After training he learnt driving and started driving the vehicles of the organization. </p><p>A few months back Peer Sayed Salauddin- H.M self styled supreme commander, Khalid Saifulla -Dy. Commandar of HM, met Javed and Ashiq at their respective camps and told that they will be tasked with some important assignment in India in near future. After 10-15 days, Shahid also met them at their respective camps and asked them to go be ready to leave for India via Nepal. Shahid procured Pakistani passport and Nepalese VISA for them separately. </p><p>On 29/07/09 Javed and Ashiq met Shahid at Rawal Pindi. Shahid introduced both Javed and Ashiq to each other. Shahid gave Rs.40, 000 to them and sent both of them to Nepal by Pakistan airlines. As per plan, one person received them at the Kathmandu Airport and took them to Pokhra, Nepal. </p><p>On dated 03.08.09 they boarded the train from Gorakhpur, UP and reached Jammu on 04.08.09. In Jammu they stayed at Jama Masjid, Residency road and contacted Faiyaz, who arranged a Santro car with consignment of arms, ammunition and explosives for them near Bus Stand, Jammu and asked them to go to Daryaganj, Delhi and contact Shahid for further directions. </p><p>Javed and Ashiq departed for Delhi in the said car along with consignment and reached at about 10.30 P.M. near Darya Ganj. They parked the Santro car opposite Mahavir Vatika, Darya Ganj. Javed made a call from nearby PCO to Shahid on a Pakistani mobile number. Shahid directed him to go to Sarai Kale Khan Bus Stand, where another person code named- Rizwan would meet them and they were supposed to follow his directions. However they were apprehended before they could execute their plans. </p><p>Further investigation is in progress.</p><p>DY. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE SPECIAL CELL DELHI</p><p>DELHI POLICE </p><p>PRESS RELEASE </p><p>ILLEGAL LPG GAS FILLING GANG BUSTED </p><p>The District Investigation Unit (DIU) of New Delhi District has busted a gang, which involved in illegal trade of filling of LPG Gas. Two persons namely (i) Vinod Kumar S/o Chattuu R/o D-3/127, Sultan Puri, Delhi - 110086, aged 32 years and (ii) Avinash Kumar Jaiswal S/o Late Lutawan Prasad R/o VPO Gobind Pur, PS Kiri Harapur, Distt. Balia, U.P., aged 39 years have been caught from the roof of Shastri Bhawan, C-Wing, when they were refilling the LPG Gas. </p><p>On 06-08-2009 an information was received that some persons are illegally filling LPG gas from one cylinder to another cylinder on the roof of Shastri Bhawan. On this, a team comprising of Inspr. R. N. Chaudhary, SI Anil Kumar, HC Manohar Lal, Ct. Deepak, Ct. Kadam Singh, Ct. Pankaj was constituted under the overall supervision of Sh. N.P. Singh, ACP/DIU and a trap was laid. SI Himmat Singh Jhala of CISF who was on duty at Shastri Bhawan has also accompanied the team at the time of arrest of the accused person. </p><p>On this a case vide FIR No. 123/09 u/s 379/411/420/120 B/34 and 7/10/55 E.C. Act was registered at PS Parliament Street. 10 gas cylinders were recovered from the roof of Shastri Bhawan, C-Wing and 19 gas cylinders were recovered from Auto which was parked near C Wing Gate No. 5. </p><p>DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE: NEW DELHI DISTRICT: NEW DELHI</p>
