<p> Horseshoe Bend School District 398 School Drive Horseshoe Bend, Idaho 83629 Phone 208-793-2225 Fax 208-793-2449 www.hsbschools.org</p><p>October 8, 2014</p><p>Dear Parents/Guardians:</p><p>Your family is invited to participate in the Backpack Program, which is made possible by a partnership between the Horseshoe Bend School District and The Idaho Foodbank.</p><p>The Backpack Program provides nutritious, non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food for students to take home each weekend. By participating in the program, your child will receive a backpack of food every Thursday at no cost to your family. The empty backpack must be returned to your child’s school each Monday to be refilled the following weekend.</p><p>The program is currently underway and will continue through the remainder of the school year, unless you indicate that you no longer wish for your child to participate. Participation in the program is confidential and will not be a part of your child’s cumulative school record. Your child’s name will not be shared with anyone except your school counselor who is managing the program.</p><p>If you choose to enroll, we hope that you will tell us how the program is working for you.
