Freytag joined Spring Grove in 2003 and is responsible for all aspects of the organization, which provides more than 1,600 cemetery and 800 funeral services annually. </p><p>Freytag has served as secretary of ICCFA and several terms on the Board of </p><p>Directors. He was also co-chairman of the 2014 ICCFA Annual Convention.</p><p>Prior to joining Spring Grove, Freytag was vice president and treasurer for Eagle </p><p>Picher, a manufacturing organization, and also ran companies in automotive-related manufacturing and technology consulting. </p><p>He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College in 1984 and has a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard School of Business. </p><p>He has been a speaker at multiple industry events including ICCFA Fall Management, ICFA University, OACFP and SCA. He is also an active member of both the Cemetery </p><p>Council and the Historic Cemetery Alliance. </p><p>A long-time resident of Cincinnati, Freytag is engaged in the local community, serving on multiple boards of directors. He has been most active in youth sports, coaching more than a dozen football and basketball teams ranging from the third to eighth grade. </p><p>Founded in 1887, the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association is the only international trade association representing all segments of the cemetery, cremation, funeral and memorialization profession. Its membership is composed of more than 7,500 rooftop locations and 15,000 professionals in the cemetery, funeral home and crematory industries, as well as supplier and related businesses worldwide.</p><p>###</p>
