<p> Tips for using the Sansa View media player</p><p>Upon connecting the Sansa View to the computer if it does not recognize the device or you get a pop up window in the tray that says “Found New Hardware MTP device , device not recognized”, then disconnect the device and on the Sansa view do this:</p><p> MoreSettings/Optionssystem settingsUSB modeMSC  Reconnect device</p><p>To delete items from the Sansa View  To delete items already loaded on the Sansa view using windows media player o Turn on Sansa view and attach player to Acer computer o Open windows media player o Select sync tab o Sansa view will appear in right window as AT TEAM, it will also be located in left window at bottom of list “AT TEAM” o At the small toolbar under the arrow buttons, locate the first icon (it will either be music note, media strip, or photo icon) this is how you navigate the various libraries and contents. Select music. o Expand the AT TEAM icon in the left window, select songs. The list of songs already loaded on the player will appear in the middle window. o Holding down the shift key, select all of the songs, then select delete. o Repeat proces for the picture and video files.</p><p> To delete one or two items directly from the Sansa View without attaching it to the computer: o Select musicselect songclick down buttonselect delete song o Process is the same for photos and videos Creating an mp3 file from a word document:</p><p> Using Word Talk  open Microsoft Word Select text select save sound file iconselect save to mp3name file and save on desktopselect save  If you get an error message, change the voice settings. Configure (looks like a wrench)  speech tab, change in drop down menu (microsoft sam usually works)save settings</p><p>To load music (mp3) files onto the Sansa View:  Turn on Sansa View and attach it to the computer  Open up windows media player  Select the sync tab in the toolbar, you will see the icon of the media player in the right hand window.  Drag the mp3 file into the right window: “Drag items here”.  Click start sync.</p><p>To load photos and videos on the Sansa View:</p><p> Turn on the Sansa View and attach Sansa View to the Acer computer  Open Sansa Media converter  Select Add Media tab  Locate file on computer  Select convert tab  Wait, files have been automatically placed on the Sansa View  You must use the Sansa Media Converter Program (even though the files are jpg and wmv files). The Sansa Media Converter will automatically upload your files directly to the device. It’s easy, you just have to remember to do it that way. How to convert you tube videos for playback on Sansa View:  Locate you tube video and copy the url  Open http://www.zamzar.com  Step 1urlpaste the url from the you tube site  Step 2 convert file to wmv file  Step 3 enter in your email address  Step 4 select convert and wait for next screen confirming  Step 5 depending on the amount of activity on the site you will receive an email with a link to download your file. Most of the time you will receive it back within 15 minutes  Remember once you have the wmv file you still must use the Sansa Media Converter to place the video on the Sansa View</p>
