<p> On motion of Mr. Templet, seconded by ______, the following resolution was offered: RESOLUTION NO. ______A resolution revoking the 2012 Alcohol Retail Permit of Nex- Gen Management, Inc., d/b/a Calegan's Sport Pub, a/k/a Big Dawg's Bar, located at 111-A Wright Avenue, Gretna,; and providing for related matters. (Council District No. 1) WHEREAS, Nex-Gen Management, Inc., d/b/a Calegan's Sport Pub, a/k/a Big Dawg's Bar, located at 111-A Wright Avenue, Gretna,, has submitted its 2012 Alcoholic Beverage Permit Renewal Application; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 118770, adopted on April 18, 2012, approved a motion to have a hearing by the Jefferson Parish Alcoholic Beverage Permit Review Committee on April 27, 2012 to determine whether the 2012 Alcoholic Beverage Permit of Nex-Gen Management, Inc., d/b/a Calegan's Sport Pub, a/k/a Big Dawg's Bar, should be revoked for reasons to include, but not limited to, illegally selling, offering for sale, and possessing any kind or type of narcotics or habit forming drugs on or about the licensed premises, a violation of the Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances, Section 4-32 et seq.; and WHEREAS, based upon the evidence presented at the hearing held on April 27, 2012 pursuant to Resolution No. 118770, the Jefferson Parish Alcoholic Beverage Permit Review Committee has decided to recommend that the renewal of the 2012 Alcohol Retail Permit of Nex-Gen Management, Inc., d/b/a Calegan's Sport Pub, a/k/a Big Dawg's Bar, be denied; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson Parish Council of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, acting as governing authority of said Parish: SECTION 1. That the 2012 Alcohol Retail Permit of Nex-Gen Management, Inc., d/b/a Calegan's Sport Pub, a/k/a Big Dawg's Bar, located at 111-A Wright Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana, is hereby denied, said denial to be considered as having become effective on January 1, 2012, for violation of Section 4-32, et seq., of the Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances. SECTION 2. That the Clerk of the Council shall notify the aforementioned permit-holder of this revocation by forwarding a copy of this resolution to the permit- holder.
