<p> Mandatory Endpoint Protection Platforms</p><p>Pricing Information</p><p>SP-09-0208</p><p>The State of Arkansas seeked to identify endpoint protection solutions to be purchased by agencies, boards, commissions and administrative sections of Arkansas’s institutions of higher education. Other public entities such as Arkansas K12 schools, counties, and cities are eligible to purchase from the state contract as well. Endpoint protection typically includes antivirus software, antispyware software, firewalls, host-based intrusion prevention technology and port control technology. These solutions are mandatory for all State Agencies. </p><p>In an effort to take advantage of economies of scale, three solutions were chosen based on cost and the solution’s ability to meet the requirements of the state security working group.
