<p> Recruitment Opportunity</p><p>Opportunity: Loader Employer: Alpha LSG Location: Newcastle Airport Industrial Estate Salary: tbc Hours: Contracts are for up to 40 hours per week working shifts on a rota basis and will include a mixture of evening and weekend shifts</p><p>Job Description:  As an Aircraft Loader, working in our Newcastle Airport Service Delivery department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that flights are fully catered and depart on time.  As a Loader, this will involve the loading of catering and bars equipment from our airport side location on to one of our 17 tonne rigid vehicles.  Interaction with airline crews and signing off catering on completion of loading.  Also required to conduct small vehicle runs out to aircraft with uplifts. </p><p>Person Specification:  You will a need Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 points and we will provide you training to do the rest!</p><p> You must have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working as part of team in a fast moving environment where deadlines are tight to ensure that flights depart on time.</p><p> Due to the nature of the role this requires a lot of lifting, bending and stretching with only a small percentage of your time spent driving</p><p> Basic numerical and checking skills are essential for this role and will be tested for at interview stage.</p><p> As part of this position you will require an Airside Pass, this will require us carrying out a full 5 year background and criminal records check on all successful applications which can take up to 4 weeks to complete.</p><p>Whilst on shift you will receive free meals and car parking at the airport Recruitment Opportunity</p><p>Application Process: CV’s to [email protected]</p><p>Closing date: 04/03/2015</p>
