A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Anaheim

<p> RESOLUTION NO. 2007-_____</p><p>A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-098, NUNC PRO TUNC</p><p>WHEREAS, on June 19, 2007, the City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Resolution No. 2007-098 which established new rates of compensation and pay policies for unrepresented part time job classifications; and</p><p>WHEREAS, through inadvertence and clerical error, the employee contribution for Miscellaneous CalPERS members was incorrectly stated; and the salary step for Police Cadet was incorrectly listed; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim to amend Resolution No. 2007-098 nunc pro tunc, to reflect the true intent of the City Council. </p><p>NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 2007-098, is hereby amended, nunc pro tunc, as follows:</p><p>Section 1: </p><p>That Section 2 of the Resolution No. 2007-098 shall be amended to reflect the salary relationship for Police Cadet as follows:</p><p>“Grade Step Classification Relationship P1020 7-9 Police Cadet 0.975 x Administrative Intern I”</p><p>Section 2: </p><p>That the first paragraph of Section 6 of Resolution No. 2007-098 shall be amended in its entirety to read as follows:</p><p>“Part-Time employees covered by this Resolution who are Miscellaneous CalPERS Members shall pay 4.75% of the statutorily required 8% CalPERS employee contribution to the retirement system. Anaheim shall pay 3.25% of the statutorily required 8% employee contribution to the retirement system. Such contributions shall be designated as “employer pick up” contributions under the provisions of Section 414(h)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.”</p><p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein Resolution No 2007-098, shall remain in full force and effect.</p><p>F:\OT4050CS.DOC THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this _____ day of September, 2007, by the following roll call vote:</p><p>AYES:</p><p>NOES:</p><p>ABSENT:</p><p>ABSTAIN:</p><p>______MAYOR OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM</p><p>ATTEST:</p><p>______CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM</p><p>APPROVED AS TO FORM: JACK L.
