<p> Space Screen - 1 of 2 Space Screen </p><p>Brief Summary</p><p>The Space Screen is a large, high-resolution, rear-projection format where an ever-changing series of inspiring space images and animations is shown. It is located on the south wall of Space Odyssey, between AstroTot Training and the Planetarium entrance. For the most part, the daily suite of images and captions will be selected and prepared for display by Space Sciences Department staff in the Newsroom. </p><p>General facilitation and monitoring only in this mode. However, the Space Screen also serves as a backdrop for Storytelling performances (see separate sheet) and can be used for events.</p><p>Main Teaching Points</p><p> Many and varied  Views of space have a strong esthetic quality in addition to their scientific value.</p><p>Educational Strategy</p><p>This is designed to be a non-directed, contemplative experience, as well as providing beautiful imagery and a space-like ambience.
