<p>WITHOUT WAVERING:</p><p>DID YOU KNOW THAT GOD PROMISES US SUPERNATURAL PROVISION?</p><p> "Do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." [Matt 6:31-33]</p><p> "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." [Philippians 4:19]</p><p>BIBLICAL TRUTH: The subject of supernatural provision is not a matter of debate about the so-called "doctrine of prosperity". This is simply Biblical truth regarding the promise of supernatural provision for the believer. And, because this promise pertains to things we NEED, it may pertain to anything starting with salvation, and including, deliverance, safety, protection, healing and even material or financial needs.</p><p>But Let's Face Facts: Ok, we can all agree that the Word of God 'promises' that He will meet our needs, yet it is obvious that many (if not most) of the people of God have a very poor record of actually 'seeing' their needs met in accordance with the promise: Right? </p><p>SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? The problem is that the people of God are ignorant (lacking knowledge) of just HOW to RECEIVE the manifestation of the promised blessing of supernatural provision. Why? Because as with all things pertaining to the Kingdom of God, supernatural provision must be received by Faith.</p><p>FAITH DOES NOT DOUBT.  "Have faith in God: I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and DOES NOT DOUBT in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him." [Mark 11:22-23 NIV]</p><p> "But let him ask in faith, WITHOUT WAVERING, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord..." [James 1:6-7] Continued….</p><p>WITHOUT WAVERING: continued…</p><p> "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (doubting); (for he is faithful that promised;)" [Hebrews 10:23]</p><p>Did you notice that every one of the above scriptures mentions FAITH and DOUBT? And did you also notice that the one who wavers' will NOT see the promised blessing manifest in their life?</p><p>WAVERING IS A BLESSING KILLER: First we should understand the definition of the word "waver". According to the dictionary the word waver means: 1. "To move unsteadily back-and-forth" 2. "To exhibit uncertainty or indecision"</p><p>FAITH on the other hand is the 'sure and certain belief'' in God and His Word regardless of the outward the circumstance or situation.</p><p>FAITH AND DOUBT CANNOT EXIST IN THE SAME PLACE AT THE SAME TIME. One is either IN faith - or they are IN doubt, and whereas faith causes the promised blessing to manifest [Hebrews 11:1] - Doubt and Unbelief prevents it. [Hebrews 3:19]</p><p>FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING:  "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand." [Rom. 5:1-2]</p><p>Notice that according to the above scripture that it is THRU faith that we actually ACCESS or obtain the promises provided to us by His grace.</p><p> "So, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (doubting); (for he is faithful that promised;)" [Hebrews 10:23]</p><p>It is important to understand that The Biblical Word translated as hope comes from the Greek word 'elpis'. 'Elpis' comes from the root word 'pistis' translated as 'faith' in the New Testament. The New Testament word 'hope' actually means 'confident expectation of the good to come'.</p><p>So, when we are told to hold fast to our profession of hope without wavering, we are actually being told to 'confidently expect' the manifestation of the promised blessing (good things), And moreover, we are told to 'HOLD FAST' to that expectation WITHOUT wavering (doubting) - no matter how the outward situation may appear.</p><p>THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE TRANSLATES HEBREWS 10:23 THIS WAY: "So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish (Confidently expect to appear) and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word." Continued…. WITHOUT WAVERING: continued…</p><p>GOD IS FAITHFUL: Remember that it is God that we are talking about, and it is impossible for Him to lie. [Hebrews 6:18]. </p><p>So, when we consider His promise that He will meet ALL our needs according to HIs riches in glory by Christ Jesus - then we are expected to BELIEVE Him without question, without doubting and without wavering between two opinions: Whether or not He will actually do it.</p><p>Consider the question posed to Israel by the prophet Elijah when the people wavered between the God of Israel and Baal. </p><p>• "Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing." [1Kings 18:21]</p><p>Many Christians today are in the same place. They waver under pressure and never come to the place where they can stand confident in God's promises. Instead, the go back and forth between believing the promises, and doubting their validity. They have two opinions: One opinion trusts God to DO what He promises, and the other opinion is not so sure about it.</p><p>But! God has told us that it is those who believe WITHOUT wavering that will SEE the promised blessing manifested in their life.</p><p>BE BUILT UP!  "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."</p><p>There is only ONE thing that will bring us to the place where we are able to stand in the face of adversity, lack, sickness, or danger and 'confidently expect' to see God's promise of deliverance, provision, healing or safety manifest: The WORD OF GOD.</p><p>The world and all its afflictions can cause us to doubt, waver, and become unsure of God's promises and the validity of His Word. But! "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." [Rom. 10:17] </p><p>I encourage you brothers and sister to build yourself up in the Word of God! Build yourself up to the place where no matter how bad things look, no matter how long things have been bad, no matter how bad you feel, you are confidently expecting the promise of God's supernatural provision to manifest in your life.
