<p>Hyundai i20 Continues to Set Class Standards in Top Media Road Tests </p><p> Hyundai Motor’s New Generation i20 tops the latest compact class road test by leading German automotive magazine Auto Zeitung  Road testers praise interior comfort and quality, placing the New Generation i20 ahead of five main rivals  Latest success for the New Generation i20 follows accolades from other leading media outlets, and several prestigious design awards</p><p>May 14, 2017 – Hyundai Motor’s New Generation i20 continues to set class standards in road tests against B-segment rivals, as leading German car title Auto Zeitung ranks the compact car above established competitors and newcomers following its latest round of testing.</p><p>Reinforcing its ‘best in class’ status, the i20 was ranked higher than the Citroen C3, Ford Fiesta, Honda Jazz, Nissan Micra, and Volkswagen Polo in the top title’s latest road test – published on May 5. The success follows an earlier Auto Zeitung test in March 2017 when the New Generation i20 topped a stringent group test including the Citroen C3, Opel Corsa, Renault Clio, and Volkswagen Polo.</p><p>The latest assessment by Auto Zeitung included praise for the car’s clear and spacious interior and extensive trunk volume. Journalists also singled out the 1.0 T-GDI powerplant for praise, deeming its acceleration and performance superior to comparable engines in the Ford, Honda and Nissan model ranges.</p><p>The New Generation i20 also ranked highest for driving comfort, with particular acclaim for the “best seat comfort… highly suitable for long distance driving”, and “very good material and finishing quality” inside the cabin.
