<p>Book Bingo Guidelines</p><p> Students are required to read 4 books per quarter (4 books = 1 bingo) for a grade. A bingo is completed when a student reads from 4 different genres in a row, column, diagonal, postage stamp, or four corners.  Students who fulfill the bingo requirement will participate in a reading celebration on a quarterly basis.  Students who read more than the required number of books will receive special incentives. Incentives will be voted on by students.  All books must be approved by the classroom teacher.</p><p>Reporting Guidelines</p><p> Four types of book reporting will be required. 1. book talk with parent 2. book talk with teacher or class 3. book report form 4. book project (original ideas must be preapproved by the teacher)</p><p> Book forms and projects vary based upon genre. Information on forms and projects can be found in the book bingo files in the classroom or on the 5th Grade website. </p><p>Due dates for book projects and book talk forms:</p><p>Quarter 1-October 10, 2013 Quarter 2-December 17, 2013 Quarter 3-March 21, 2014 Quarter 4-June 2, 2014</p>
