Senator Hagan was the keynote speaker at this event in 2010.</p><p>Annamaria Lusardi, Ph.D., the Denit Trust Distinguished Scholar in Economics and Accountancy at the George Washington University School of Business, and director of the Financial Literacy Center, a joint center of the RAND Corporation, Dartmouth College and the Wharton School, will receive the 2013 William E. Odom Visionary Leadership Award. </p><p>Colorado Jump$tart Coalition has been named 2013 State Coalition of the Year. C.J. Juleff, executive director of Colorado Jump$tart, will accept the award on behalf of her organization. This award recognizes the exemplary efforts and grassroots accomplishments of Jump$tart’s 49 affiliated state coalitions.</p><p>1 Jump$tart Chairman Ted Beck, who is also President and CEO of the National Endowment for Financial Education, will present the Chairman’s Award to Neil Milner, former Jump$tart Chairman and recently retired CEO of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors. The Chairman’s Award is presented on rare occasion, at the discretion of the Chairman, to recognize extraordinary service and accomplishment.</p><p>These awards will be presented at the Jump$tart Coalition’s annual awards dinner on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel. The dinner is attended by Jump$tart Coalition partners and supporters from business and finance, associations and educational non-profit organizations, academic leaders, and federal agency leadership. </p><p>“Advancements in financial literacy can be attributed to the collective contributions of many organizations and individuals, and Jump$tart is proud to have this opportunity to recognize some of the best,” said Laura Levine, Jump$tart President and CEO. “Each of this year’s honorees has lent a significant and unique voice to the effort.
