<p> PERT ACTION PLAN Karen Foss</p><p>Our Twelve Month Goal is to: Develop an early warning system for all students during the first two weeks of the quarter. The early warning system would be based on: lack of attendance, tardiness, and homework not turned in, tests or quizzes below 2.0 and behavior concerns. </p><p>Interventions identified as follows:</p><p>Attendance Problems: Call or e-mail students. Share responsibility with faculty, staff, and administration</p><p>Registration Receipt should read: “To be present in class on the first day is a strong predictor of student success.”</p><p>Class syllabus might include tell the students to ask the instructor, “Who Is Dr. Vincent Tinto?”</p><p>Homework or Test Problems: Separate handout listing support services available to students in areas such as tutoring, counseling, disability services, CLIC, Math Lab, Writing Center, etc. </p><p>Tracking System: Develop a system to identify and follow –up on students who have received early warning notifications.</p>
