<p> Palace Packaging Machines</p><p>Application Data Sheet</p><p>Product: Plastic Cigar Tubes</p><p>Speed: 200 per minute</p><p>Application: Customer operation involved manual placement of cigar tubes from a bulk bin into a receiving hopper of their cigar inserting machine. Their cigar inserting machine takes an individual tube, inserts a cigar and plugs the opening.</p><p>The Palace model CB-42VPS system takes the tubes from bulk and loads them by way of a centrifugal bowl onto a turret with pockets (veins). The horizontal tube orientation in each pocket or vein can be either with open or closed end of the tube towards the center of the centrifugal bowl. At a point in the turret rotation the tubes are oriented vertically into the same position and discharged into a rail twister. The Palace tube orienter will be integrated with the customers cigar inserting machine for an automatic operation.
