Reliable sources tell us that the Quartet was organized by First Trumpeter Fizbin, who enjoyed a modest solo career in Budapest and Bucharest (with a brief stint in Székesfehérvár) before getting together some of his ol’ college buddies and The Pontoon Gazette skyrocketing to acclaim across the Atlantic.
