Make sure to put your name and date in section III of the application. October Scholarship Leaders – attend Alumni Leaders Conference (Always in the fall) Scholarship Leaders – Continue to drop off or mail posters & applications to area High School Guidance Counselors. Make sure to put your name and date in section III of the application. November Scholarship Leaders – Continue to drop off or mail posters & applications to area High School Guidance Counselors. Make sure to put your name and date in section III of the application. Students - November 1 deadline for merit scholarship applications through the Common Application for incoming freshmen. December Scholarship leaders – continue to recruit applications for your club scholarship. Scholarship leaders - Complete Scholarship Committee form or the Scholarship Committee form on line, OhioStateAlumni.org/recruiters, click on Alumni Scholars Program. Students - Mid-December early application acceptance announced January OSUAA – OSUAA will send list of accepted students to clubs from club area. February OSUAA – OSUAA will send a letter of projected spendable scholarship amounts sent to clubs. Scholarship Leaders – Hold interviews if needed 2/1 Students – Deadline for incoming freshmen applications to OSU if you want to be considered for Autumn semester. OSUAA – OSUAA can send a list of accepted students to clubs from club area if additional names are needed. February 2/15 Students - FAFSA deadline. February 2/25 Scholarship Leaders – Send all completed applications, transcripts, cover sheet and rankings to Leslie at the Alumni Association. OSU Admissions Office - Award letters begin to go students on line March account from Financial Aid. Formal notification must come from the University not the club. OSUAA - OSUAA begins to notify Clubs of awarded students. Scholarship Leaders – contact your scholarship students. Encourage students to pay their acceptance fee by May 1. Contact OSUAA if any of your students have decided not to attend OSU for reaward purposes. April OSUAA – OSUAA continues to notify clubs of their scholarship students.
