<p>Laptop Computers and Cart Student Use Agreement</p><p>Please keep in mind that using the laptop is a privilege, not a right. Treat it like it is your personal computer. Use common sense. Remember - a damaged computer is worthless.</p><p>I agree to the following:  Handle the equipment carefully and follow all rules (Vandalism will not be tolerated).  Stay on task and follow directions.  Never leave the laptop unattended.  Keep all food, drinks, pencils, pens, etc. away from the computer.  Never download any files onto the laptop.  Never change the desktop, background, etc. of the computer.  Report any problems immediately to the teacher.  Place the computer on a flat surface when using it (no stacking).  When carrying the laptop, place the lid down.  Ask permission before printing.  At the end of the working period: o Shut down the computer completely. o Return it to the correct slot in the cart. o Plug it into the adapter carefully. o Report problems.</p><p>Consequences: First offense: ______Second offense: ______Third offense: ______</p><p>Student Name: ______Date:______Student Signature: ______Parent Signature: ______</p>
