<p> TULANE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors Minutes Saturday July 28, 2012</p><p>A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tulane Alumni Association, a Louisiana non-profit corporation, was called to order at the Kauffman Center, Kansas City, MO at 12:00 p.m. pursuant to the notice sent to all directors in accordance with the bylaws. </p><p>The following Officers were present: Sharon Bourgeois – President; Alan Bern – Secretary/Treasurer; Rusty Pickering – President Elect; Michelle Rinehart– Immediate Past President; Carol Showley- Vice President; John Williams – Representative to the Board of Tulane</p><p>The following Directors were present: Rob Alexander – Business; Apryl Brown – Public Health; Evan Herman – Tulane Clubs; Augusto Martinez – Tulane Clubs; Jill McIntyre – Tulane Clubs; Jamie Milhous – Tulane Clubs; Dori Lynn Neuwirth – Tulane Clubs; Ron Palais – Member-at-Large; Michael Rubenstein – Law School; Arman Sadeghpour – Science & Engineering; Theresa Schieber – Tulane Clubs; Lawrence Tena – Member-at-Large; Rob Tessaro- Clubs; Jennifer Wellborn- Social Work; Elliott Wiener – Tulane Clubs</p><p>The following Committee Chairs were present: Mary Lynn Hyde – Marketing/Communications; Kathryn Roman – Clubs</p><p>The following Club Leaders and representatives were present: Patrick Ande – Gold Coast, FL; Larry Connelley, Little Rock, AR; Bob Freeland – New Orleans, LA; Arthur Griffin, Denver, CO; Andy Hyson – Washington, DC; Thomas Kern – Nashville, TN; Don Kim, Minneapolis, MN; Tom Lee – Orange County, CA; Joshua Millan – Kansas City, MO; Megan Smith – Austin, TX; Tobias Smith, Dallas, TX; James Wallin, Las Vegas, NV; Elizabeth Zuik – Boston, MA</p><p>Also present were the following past presidents: St. Paul Bourgeois, Dan O’Connor, Rick Powell, Charlotte Travieso and Bob Vorhoff</p><p>Also present were Tulane staff members: Gaby Cannon, Will Burdette, Heather Corbett, Luann Dozier, Christopher Dyba, Hillary Green, Cynthia Hayes, Yvette Jones; King Logan, Laurie Orgeron, Jinyoung Park, Ashley Perkins; James Stofan; Ken Tedesco, Charlotte Travieso, Darby Ulery, Ginny Wise </p><p>General introductions and announcements were made. Minutes of the last meeting were approved. James Stofan, Incoming VP for Alumni Relations stated that he is looking forward to working at the University Charlotte Travieso, Alumni Affairs Report  Welcome to everyone  Packet contents  New Club Distribution list  Welcome Wednesday’s at the Bea Field Alumni House has generated over 80 students.  Terrence Jones is no longer with the Alumni Affairs office.  Alum Nights  TALL Program</p><p>Luann Dozier, University Update  As of now we are at 74% of our $65 million dollar goal  As of now we are 65% of our 17,000 donor goal  Tulane Stadium</p><p>Carol Showley, Secretary/Treasurer Report  New reimbursement policies  97% board giving  Past Presidents – 69%  Club Presidents – 63%  Donor List</p><p>Closing Remarks – Sharon Bourgeois, TAA President Regular session was adjourned at 12:00 p.m. </p>
