<p> BRAINIAC’13- The Mind-Blowing Science Quiz</p><p>Test your General Science Knowledge with multiple choice questions of fun and thought</p><p>5 Teams per School are allowed to participate. Each team should comprise of 3 Members.</p><p>Round 1 – Preliminary Round Round 2 – Final Rounds</p><p>Timing: 11:00 am – 11:30 am (Prelim) 01:00 pm – 02:00 pm (Final)</p><p>Preliminary Round The Prelim would be a 20 question written round. There will be no negative markings. Top SIX teams from the Prelims would qualify for the Finals.</p><p>Final Rounds The Top Six Teams would battle it out to be champions in a FIVE round final. The questions would be a combination of text based visual questions and correct explanatory answers would give the teams points.</p><p>SOUND OF MUSIC As the round suggests the competitors on stage have to identify from the given audio piece of what is being said.</p><p>LATERA L THINKING A traditional Greycaps round where the contestants will get visuals and audio/video clues on screen fro m which they need to find a common link to either a person, event or creation etc.</p><p>BRICK & MORTAR Round where they will receive a clue with a stipulated number of blocks that represent the number of alphabets in the answer. From this they need to arrive at a final answer, the clue of the letters in the answer appearing as help.</p><p>COUNT DOWN A multi clue round, which begins with a tough clue progressing towards easier ones. Points scored will be inversely proportional to the number of clues used to arrive at the final answer.</p>
