<p> MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE WINK-LOVING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT May 14, 2013</p><p>The Board of Trustees of the Wink-Loving Independent School District convened in special monthly session at 6:00 p.m., May 14, 2013, in the administration board room. </p><p>Members Present Eddie Brewer, Larry Antley, Kristyl Hotze, Melissa Halterman, Brad White, Minerva Soltero, and Russ Slaughter </p><p>Members Absent None</p><p>Others Present Eddie Boggess, Scotty Carman, Paul Scifres, Winkler County News, Sandra Waggoner, Craig Wallace, Rito Soltero, Robert Scoggin, and Brad Roberts</p><p>Roll Call, Establishment of a Quorum, Call to Order</p><p>Adopt an Order Canvassing Returns and Declaring Results of Election</p><p>Trustees reviewed the Tally Sheets, and Total Vote Count as presented and accepted the election returns. The election returns are as follows:</p><p>Trustee Place 1</p><p>Minerva Soltero 214 Votes Jerry Bob Graves 123 Votes</p><p>Trustee Place 2</p><p>Brandon Jones 168 Votes Eddie Brewer 169 Votes</p><p>Trustee Place 3</p><p>Paula Kline Barnett 82 Votes Melissa Halterman 153 Votes Ricky McGehee 100 Votes</p><p>The three incumbents were returned to office. Motion made by Trustee Antley to accept the Canvassed Returns and Declared the Results of the Election as presented. Motion seconded by Trustee White and passed with a unanimous vote. Oath of Office was administered to the Newly Elected Board Members by Board Secretary, Grace Harrison. </p><p>Reorganize the Board</p><p>Our Current Slate of Officers are: a. President: Mr. Eddie Brewer b. Vice President: Ms. Minerva Soltero c. SSecretary: Ms. Grace Harrison d. aAssistant Secretary: Ms. Kristyl Hotze</p><p>Motion made by Trustee Soltero to nominate Eddie Brewer for President. Motion seconded by Trustee Slaughter and passed with a unanimous vote.</p><p>Motion made by Trustee Slaughter to nominate Minerva Soltero for Vice President. Motion seconded by Trustee White and passed with a unanimous vote.</p><p>Motion made by Trustee Halterman to nominate Grace Harrison for Board Secretary. Motion seconded by Trustee White and passed with a unanimous vote.</p><p>Motion made by Trustee Soltero to nominate Kristyl Hotze as Assistant Secretary. Motion seconded by Trustee Slaughter and passed with a unanimous vote.</p><p>The slate of officers will remain the same as last year.</p><p>Officers for the 2013-2014 School Year will be:</p><p> a. PPresident: Eddie Brewer b. VVice President: Minerva Soltero c. SSecretary: Grace Harrison d. AAssistant Secretary: Kristyl Hotze ADJOURNMENT</p><p>Declaration to adjourn at 6:20 p.m. on motion by Trustee Slaughter and seconded by Trustee White.
