E indicates the dominant allele and e indicates the recessive allele. Determine the genotypes of the original (P generation) and explain your reasoning. You may use Punnett squares to enhance your description, but the results from the Punnett squares must be discussed in your answer. B. Use a Chi-squared test on the F2 generation data to analyze your prediction of the parental genotypes. Show all your work and explain the importance of your final answer.</p><p>2.Proteins—large complex molecules—are major building blocks of all living organisms. Discuss the following in relation to proteins. a. The chemical composition and levels of structure of proteins. b. The roles of DNA and RNA in protein synthesis. c. The roles of proteins in membrane structure and transport of molecules across the membrane.</p><p>3. Experiments by the following scientists provided critical information concerning DNA. Describe each classic experiment and indicate how it provided evidence for the chemical nature of the gene. a. Hershey and Chase – bacteriophage replication b.
