<p> INTERNATIONAL SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE LOSS DAY “DAY OF” CHECKLIST: CORE SURVIVOR DAY EVENT ELEMENTS </p><p>The checklist below lists the core elements that a Survivor Day event attendee should encounter from the start of your event to its close. </p><p>KEY : R = Required H = Highly recommended O = Optional</p><p>Arrival</p><p>1. H Colored ribbons/stickers/beads to indicate loss relationship (and color key) Note: On the Organizer Resources Page you can find nametag templates with colored banners; if you print them with a color printer, you don’t need to provide separate ribbons/stickers/beads. 4. H Program booklet 5. O Attendee notecards</p><p>Resource Table If you are not setting up a separate resource table, please include the following resources on the registration table.</p><p>1. R Information about AFSP, both general and specific to suicide loss 2. R Local and other resources 3. O Donation basket Displays</p><p>1. O Lifekeeper Memory Quilt 2. O Photo memorial 3. O Other memorial displays</p><p>Survivor Day Program</p><p>1. R Welcoming remarks, incl. AFSP key messages (see Promotion & Publicity Toolkit) 2. O Keynote speaker 3. R Viewing of The Journey and The Journey Revisited 4. H Post-screening discussion 5. O Panel discussion 6. H Breakout discussion groups 7.
