<p> Land (Duties and Taxes) (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 2009</p><p>GN No. 125 of 2009</p><p>THE LAND (DUTIES AND TAXES) ACT</p><p>Regulations made by the Minister under section 47 of the Land (Duties and Taxes) Act</p><p>1. These regulations may be cited as the Land (Duties and Taxes) (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 2009. </p><p>2. In these regulations - </p><p>"Act" means the Land (Duties and Taxes) Act. </p><p>3. The Eighth Schedule to the Act is amended - </p><p>(a) in item (e), by inserting, after sub-item (iv), the following new sub-item - </p><p>(iva) to local authorities in respect of green space or social amenities at a nominal price of one rupee;</p><p>Part III</p><p>(b) by adding, after item (n), the following new item - </p><p>(o) witnessing the transfer of immovable and property by the National Housing Development Company Ltd to an individual where the value of the immovable property does not exceed the amount of 600,000 rupees, which amount shall be adjusted every year to reflect any increase in the Construction Price Index. </p><p>Part II and Part VIA</p><p>4. Regulation 3(a) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 June 2008. </p><p>Made by the Minister on 14 October 2009.</p>
