<p> Aylestone Park Football Club Minutes for the meeting 5th February 2007.</p><p>Present.</p><p>Leslie, Keith, Jane, Bob, Steve, Lee, Nigel, Alex, Andy, Paul, Tom, Judith, Andy Talbot, Rob, Tim, Carl Chapman, Ron, Dean, Kevin, Mick Elliott.</p><p>Apologies.</p><p>Paul Mangon, Adie Causier, Jenny Collins.</p><p>Matters arising.</p><p>Roberts. Remedial repairs around the garage of Dorset Avenue resident Mr. Roberts. Andy Holn to see to work.</p><p>Tom Shaw now has the outstanding subscriptions/donations in the appropriate bank account. Matter now settled.</p><p>Samworth Update. Floodlighting has been prioritized and could be agreed within next financial year. We could be up and running in a new club house for season 2009.</p><p>Accounts.</p><p>Expenditure increased over income due to cost of gents loo installation. With regards to tax rebates from donations, monies had now been received from Inland Revenue and bob will settle with each section accordingly.</p><p>Subscriptions/donations.</p><p>Following a debate regarding what excellent value for money, players/parents receive at Aylestone Park it was proposed that subs/donations be increased for the new season from £1500 to £1550. Mini soccer a £30 increase to £930 with respective reductions for those who play on Linwood. This amount to be announced at the AGM in June.</p><p>It was suggested that managers of players up to U16 to get their parents/guardians to sign a monthly direct debit to the sections account as a means of an easier and more reliable form of collection of subscriptions/donations.</p><p>Application to Football League. In order for sections to be registered with the League, a payment of 50% of subs/donations needed to be paid by 1st April 2006 (for the forthcoming season.) with either a posted cheque dated October 2007 or a direct monthly debit. These being the approved means of payment to the Club.</p><p>Correspondence. A letter had been received from Tracey Kent in thanks for the support offered by Aylestone Park following her husbands’ recent death.</p><p>Leicester & Rutland Child Protection. – www.lscb-llr.org.uk Bob Stretton is the appointed Club officer.</p><p>Floodlight. The 3rd and final floodlight application had been successful and approved. It was awarded on the proviso it will create a safe environment for disabled players (our inclusive section) Other conditions also applied. Erection should take place at the end of March.</p><p>Sponsors dinner.</p><p>There was an excellent response to the sponsor’s diner, which was spread over two evenings to accommodate the numbers. Excellent feedback from sponsors and members alike.</p><p>General repairs. The front sign which required attention had now been repaired.</p><p>Portable goals. If anyone notices repairs are required, - Get it done!</p><p>Portacabin. Once again this unit has been left unlocked on at least 3 occasions since the last meeting and to which items have gone missing in the process. All sections, managers and members are requested to have security in mind.</p><p>New Toilets, Cleanliness. Last Wednesday some players used the new urinal installation to scrape the mud from their boots leaving the facility in a disgraceful manner. Sections who used the club that evening will be charged £10 per section as a fine for non-satisfactory supervision of their players.</p><p>Water Bill. Andy Holn had no further progress report to make.</p><p>Tournaments. Dean Oldham has arranged a tournament over the weekend 28/29 April.</p><p>Midland Tournament.</p><p>This tournament to be re-branded as the ‘Champions Invitation Cup.’ 12 counties to be canvassed with the top 3 teams invited from each division. Charges will be reduced to £40 per team with Aylestone Park teams F.O.C. so long as they positively contribute to the running of the tournament on the day they do not play. The date for the tournament will be the weekend 11 12 August. Web Site development.</p><p>Aylestone Parks very own web site is in the development stage and will go live on April 1st. The progress of the site can be viewed on http://jon-simmo.no-ip.biz/apfc/home.php.</p><p>The site designer, Jon Simpson will make a presentation of the live site to members at the next meeting. All sections and members are encouraged to submit information to the site, which will be dynamic and interactive with many useful links etc.</p><p>Monday 12 February – Welfare awareness seminar. Steve Cramp to attend. Will report to next meeting.</p><p>AOB.</p><p>Vote of thanks for all those who attended and supported the Fir & Feather which raised £500. However, there was a lack of support from certain sections of the club.</p><p>Ron Collins to sign over kit co-coordinator to Nigel Hallam. Many thanks to Ron for his efforts in the past.</p><p>Presentation nights.</p><p>Keith advised members that ALL sections are expected to use the social facilities for their presentation evenings and suggested sections get together to hold joint evenings. Keith to advise members of dates available.</p><p>Training nights.</p><p>Steve Cramp has the original plan outlining who trains where and when. A copy will be sent to all managers to save any further confusion and to clarify the matter.</p><p>Tournament pennants. – See Nigel Hallam.</p><p>Mini soccer academy starts 17th Feb. for next 9 weeks. Request for volunteers to help. Expected attendance to total 60/70.</p><p>Next meeting April 2nd. </p>
