Reviewed Minutes from Fall Teleconference. The Minutes were accepted as written.</p><p>2. Discussed difficulties with scheduling and low participation in Teleconference. Suggested online scheduling tool such as Zoomerang or Doodle. Goal of scheduling teleconference one month in advance and sending reminders at two weeks, one week and day before.</p><p>3. Representatives who attended NCSC last year have agreed to represent the NYSAFP again except for the Woman’s representative, Dr. Der Simonian who has moved to California and Dr. Onkwo who will not be able to participate due to personal reasons. A new Women’s representative has been selected. Bobbi will send an email to all active IMG members of the NYSAFP to recruit a new representative.</p><p> a. Woman – Gaylin Greenwood, MD b. Minority – Jennifer Igbokwe, MD c. New Physician – Sonya M. Sidhu-Izzo, MD d. IMG – A number of potential candidates were discussed. Bobbi will send a broadcast email to the membership to recruit more candidates. e. GLBT – Leila Hagshenas, MD. Dr. Hagshenas was featured in a full page photograph in American Family Physician</p><p>4. Anticipated Board Positions for the next year were discussed: a. President – Elect Philip Kaplan, MD b. Vice President Ray Ebarb, MD c. Treasurer Bob Morrow, MD d. Secretary James Mumford, MD e. Upstate Delegate AAFP Jun David, MD f. Upstate Alt. Delegate AAFP Drew Merritt, MD g. Speaker COD Mark Josefski, MD h. Vice Speaker COD Stephen Offord, MD i. Directors Term Expires 1. 2014 2. 2014 3. 2014 j. New Physician Director 2013</p><p>Potential candidates include: Dr. Linda Prine, Dr. Anna Saporito, Dr. Manish Saha, Dr Anele Slezinger, Dr. Soni Matthew, Dr. Vijaya Reddy, Dr. Fabienne Daguilh, Dr. Purnima Garg, Dr. Larry Novak and Dr Christina Doucet. We also plan to send a broadcast email to the membership to recruit additional candidates. Dr. Drew Merrit, Dr. Bob Ostrander, Dr. Mark Josefski, and Dr. Jim Greenwald were identified as potential recruiters for additional candidates.</p><p>5. New Physician Candidates for New Physician Delegate, a 2 year position include: Jose Tiburcio – Bronx Ashley Gallagher - Rochester</p><p>6. Support for Residency Chapters. Plan to draft a letter to County chapters to encourage support for Resident chapters.</p><p>7. COD Leadership Program Plan to do an MBTI program with resident participants. There is an associated cost of $20 per participant for a detailed report. We would limit the number of participants to a maximum of 25 for a total cost of less than $500</p><p>8. Summer Cluster - Public speaking - Conflict Resolution - Need a speaker and plan to ask for fiscal note of $1000 to support a professional speaker. We will approach Nancy Fisher at Chapter Relations at the AAFP for recommendations</p><p>There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1 P.M.</p>
