<p> California State University Dominguez Hills Academic Senate Resolution MSP 2/4/04 Exec 04-01 Endorsement of Proposition 55: Public Education Bond Act</p><p>WHEREAS the current budget crisis in the state of California poses an immediate threat to the ability of the California State University to deliver the high quality, affordable, higher education which has been promised to the people of the state, and which is vital to the future prosperity of the state; and</p><p>WHEREAS the bond issue Proposition 55 is an essential part of the effort to resolve that budget crisis; and</p><p>WHEREAS the Constitution of the General Faculty and the Academic Senate of California State University, Dominguez Hills, names the Academic Senate as the representative body of said faculty; therefore be it</p><p>RESOLVED that the Academic Senate, in the name of the General Faculty of California State University, Dominguez Hills, endorses Proposition 55 and urges the people of California to support it in the upcoming election.</p>
