Founded in 1897 under the direction of our founder, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason, it is broken down into 4 sub groups: the national church, state jurisdictions, districts, and the local church. Riverside COGIC is one of 5 churches in the Cleveland Progressive District under Superintendent Jesse Davis and District Missionary Thelma Darnel. Ohio North Jurisdiction #1 under the Current leadership of Bishop William James and Mother Sarah Thompson is our Jurisdiction. Our National Leader is Bishop Chandler D. Owens and Mother Willie Mae Rivers, with the national Headquarters in Memphis, TN. </p>
