<p> CREATIVE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS Creating Letterheads</p><p>Using Word: 1. Design your own letterhead on plain white paper (not on “heading”) 2. You MUST be in “header and footer” view when creating your letterhead. 3. Include your name, your position (manager, owner, CEO, etc.), a company name, your full address, full phone number, web address, e-mail address, logo, and slogan. 4. Do not use more than 2 inches from the top edge of the page. (Set your header margin for the minimum allowed--.2”) 5. Use print preview to make sure that nothing is cut off the top of your paper. 6. Add your name and updatable filename (Insert, Quick Parts, Field) in the footer section. 7. Save as “My Word Letterhead” in your “Business Letters” folder 8. Paste any business letter onto your letterhead; edit if necessary 9. Print</p><p>Using Publisher: 1. Choose a letterhead template in Publisher 2. Include your name, your position (manager, owner, CEO, etc.), a company name, your full address, full phone number, web address, e-mail address, logo, and slogan. 3. Make the text as large as possible without using more than the top and bottom 2” of the paper 4. Make a large (empty) textbox to use to add text for a letter 5. Make a textbox at the bottom with your name and filename. 6. Save as “My Publisher Letterhead” in your “Business Letters” folder 7. Paste any business letter onto your letterhead; edit if necessary 8. Print</p>
