<p> LATIN AMERICAN REVOLUTIONS ASSIGNMENT </p><p>When, if ever, do people have the right to challenge authority?</p><p>Objectives:  Define and distinguish between revolution, riot, rebellion, and coup d’etat.  Describe the patterns that revolutions usually follow.  Explain reasons why revolutions occur in general, and why Latin American countries in particular were predisposed to revolution.  Compare and contrast various revolutions in Latin America, with a particular focus on the causes, consequences, and methods of these revolutions.  Use data from Latin American revolutionary history to help answer the question: When, if ever, do people have the right to challenge authority?</p><p>Directions: Fill in the chart for your assigned revolution.
