<p> 1 Collyer Lane, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Phone: 908-204-3001; Fax: 908-204-3015; Website: www.bernards.org</p><p>Resolution #2012-0158 Authorizing a Shared Services Agreement with the County of Somerset for the Provision of Radio Dispatching Services </p><p>WHEREAS, the Township of Bernards has a need for radio dispatching services; and </p><p>WHEREAS, the Township has negotiated with the County of Somerset for the provision radio dispatching services for the Township; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the Township and the County negotiated and agreed upon the terms and conditions for the provision of radio dispatching services as set forth in the attached Uniformed Shared Services Agreement; and</p><p>WHEREAS, pursuant to the Uniform Shared Services and Consolidation Act, N.J.S.A. 40A:65- 1, et seq., the Township is authorized to enter into the attached Uniformed Shared Services Agreement for Radio Dispatching Services with the County; and </p><p>WHEREAS, the Uniformed Shared Services Agreement for Radio Dispatching Services in the form attached hereto has been reviewed and approved by the Township Attorney, the Township’s insurance provider, and representatives of the County; and</p><p>WHEREAS, the Township Committee of the Township of Bernards has determined that is the best interest of the citizens of the Township to enter into the attached Uniformed Shared Services Agreement for Radio Dispatching Services with the County for a period of ten (10) years.</p><p>NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Bernards, in the County of Somerset and State of New Jersey that the Township of Bernards hereby authorizes the Township to enter into the Uniformed Shared Services Agreement for Radio Dispatching Services in the form attached hereto with the County of Somerset pursuant to the terms and conditions therein.</p><p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Township Clerk are authorized to sign the Uniformed Shared Services Agreement for Radio Dispatching Services in the form attached hereto.</p><p>BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect pursuant to law.</p><p>CERTIFICATION</p><p>I hereby certify this is a true and exact copy of a resolution adopted by the Bernards Township Committee on 03/12/2012 Denise Szabo, Municipal Clerk</p><p>2</p>
