These mythological tales have been passed down to present day. You will be assigned a specific constellation and will be required to research information about the constellation to be turned in for a project grade. </p><p>Please answer the following questions in a 2-3 page paper, typed 12-pt font, 1-inch margins:  Describe the story of the constellation. Does it have any relationships to other constellations, if so what are they? (8 points)  Approximately how many stars are in the constellation? What are the common names of the major stars in the constellation? Do any of the names have special significance? (8 points)  From which civilization did the constellation originate? (2 points)  What are its astronomical coordinates? (8 points)  How far away is the closest and furthest star in the constellation? (4 points)  Based on the story you’ve researched; explain what connection the constellation might have with you? (Your horoscope? Reminds you of a childhood moment? Reminds you of a family or friend?) This can be an image found online or your own accurate drawing. (4 points)  Along with the write up and image, you will be required to create a 3-D model of the constellation. This portion is open-ended and can be as creative or realistic as you’d like, as long as it is three-dimensional.
