<p> Hatch Latch® Door Restrictor Specifications</p><p>Model – Door Restrictor (Zone Locking Device) shall be model A835A4 manufactured by Advanced Microcontrols, Inc., Fort Worth, TX.</p><p>Door Restrictor Operational Features – </p><p>Shall operate from 110VAC (+/- 20%) line power.</p><p>Shall not be dependent on Elevator Control signaling for Door Zoning and utilize a self-contained Door Zone sensor so that unit can be fully functional on the redundant battery backup power.</p><p>Shall utilize removable connectors on PCB for ease of replacement.</p><p>Shall have LED indication for Power, Alarm signaling, and 2 interlocking signal inputs Door Zone (DZ) and Door Location (DL)</p><p>Shall have circuitry incorporated to output an Unlocking Zone signal to assist with the requirements of A17.1-2000.</p><p>Shall incorporate a monitored backup battery with system operational capability of at least 1 hour.</p><p>Shall have a Test Switch on PCB to actuate a Battery Capacity Test feature, and to test and clear any other indicated Alarms.</p><p>Shall incorporate a PWM based cooling circuit to lower operational voltage and current applied to the solenoid coil when energized for extended periods.</p><p>Shall incorporate a solid state solenoid drive circuit with a relay based backup for solenoid control.</p><p>Shall incorporate a solid state plunger detection circuit for verification of locking pin operation – no external switches or contacts shall be used.</p><p>Shall incorporate circuitry for an emergency override input to facilitate the operational requirements of emergency personnel. Shall have Audible indication for Alarm signaling capable of not more than 80 dB levels.</p><p>Shall have circuitry and software diagnostics to detect the following operational alert indications and sound unique tones to indicate the alarm condition:</p><p>Processor Startup: The micro-processor has failed to start - replace PCB </p><p>Battery Alarm: Battery voltage is lower than system parameters or DC fuse blown (F2) </p><p>Solenoid Alarm: Solenoid or cable is damaged, or drive circuitry is not operable. </p><p>Sequence Alarm: DL or GATE sensor is active outside of Door Zone. Adjust the door location (DL) sensor.</p><p>PCB Control Alarm: Power control switch has failed, replace PCB. </p><p>Plunger Motion: PCB has detected that the plunger is not present or not moving when energized.</p><p>DZ Photo Eye: Door zone photo eye has failed. Complementary outputs are not synchronized.</p><p>AC Power: 120 VAC power lost or AC fuse has blown. (F1) </p><p>Emergency Override: The Hatch Latch® is on emergency override - a signal is present on the emergency input</p><p>Door Restrictor Enclosure</p><p>Shall have overall dimensions of no more than 9 in x 9 in x 3 in</p><p>Shall be manufactured from at least 18 gauge rolled formed steel – no aluminum</p><p>Shall be painted</p><p>Shall fully enclose PCB, power transformer, and 12V backup Battery Door Restrictor Solenoid Assembly</p><p>Shall be operable with 12VDC (nominal), constant duty</p><p>Shall be manufactured with a non-metallic high strength bobbin</p><p>Shall be equipped with a minimum plunger diameter of 7/16 inch</p><p>Shall be equipped with a high temperature Teflon coated plunger</p><p>Shall not protrude from Elevator Car header more than 2 inches once mounted to car header</p>
