<p>Munay-Ki Healer’s Rite</p><p>Friday, August 19, 2011 7:15 PM</p><p>Location: Chrysalis Meeting Place Richmond, VA </p><p>Contact: Polly Lazaron </p><p>Join us for an evening of ceremony - receive the gift of the Munay-Ki Healer’s Rite.</p><p>A Quechua word, Munay (moon-eye) is the first principal of the traditional, indigenous Andean ethical code.</p><p>Munay is a life practice based on harmony and balance that comes from deep, abiding, natural, open-hearted, loving kindness.</p><p>Ki (key) means universal, spiritual life energy, similar to Chi in Tai Chi, Qi in Qi Chong, ki in Reiki, mana in Polynesian and prana in Sanskrit.</p><p>Munay-Ki Rites are nine simple energy attunements that enliven us from cells to all aspects of being.</p><p>Each Rite has a unique purpose and deepens our experiences of empowerment, well- being and kinship with all of life.</p><p>Like seeds, with the potential for growth and change, the Rites transfer information to our energy field and begin a uniquely individual experience of aligning heart, mind and actions.</p><p>The Healer’s Rite enhances self-healing, activates or deepens our ability to convey energy and connects us with an ancient lineage of shaman and healers.</p><p>Dr. Alberto Villoldo, PHD developed the Munay-Ki Rites in collaboration with Andean and Amazonian shaman. The Rites are based on shamanic and spiritual initiation practices of the Andean and Amazon cultures and similar to other traditions. </p><p>The Munay-Ki Rites are not a substitute for medical, physiological or psychological treatment.
