<p>UUCR Bazaar 2010 - What We Don't Take</p><p>Because the Bizarre Bazaar is only open for a limited time for sales and due to space constraints, we regret that we are unable to accept the items listed below. </p><p> Anything that doesn’t work, is broken, dirty, stained or moldy Lawnmowers Car seats, baby cribs, toys with magnets – safety concerns Undergarments or socks Shoes, boots (men’s, women’s, children’s) (Children’s boots OK) Major appliances Furniture - it doesn’t sell Bedframes, curtain rods, blinds Encyclopedias, magazines, or textbooks Videotapes or cassettes Large pieces of exercise equipment, e.g. exercise bikes, etc Live plants Building supplies, e.g. shutters, light fixtures Liquids of any kind (cosmetics, paint, etc.)</p><p>Recyling Options</p><p>Places to donate items we don't accept for the bazaar:</p><p> Building materials, furniture and large appliances can be donated to the Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity Re-Store Furniture can be donated to A Wider Circle, 301-657-1010 or St. Rose of Lima Furniture Ministry, 301-482-2947. Clothing of all types can be donated to Interfaith Clothing Centers (Rockville 301-424-3796 and Gaithersburg 301-977-1267) operated by Interfaith Works (Community Ministry of Montgomery County). </p><p>Search the Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation Solid Waste Services “Use It Again” guide or Freecycle Network at Use It Again. </p><p>This is a great one-stop shop for finding an organization that may want your item.</p>
