Plaques in the ground - WGANC tee markers will be used.  Color of markers to be played are Gold (Nugget). GREENS:  Place hole locations six centered, six back, and six forward.  Hole placement is identified by colored flag or location – be specific: Red-front white-middle yellow-back BUNKERS:  Rakes are to be placed out of bunkers.</p><p>SIZE OF FIELD AND FORMAT:  Number of players: Maximum 100 Minimum 24  Realistic time to complete the round for outside players 4 1/2 to 5 hours  Type of start: shotgun  Start time: 8:30 a.m.  Indicate starting hole 1 back to 18  Tees to double up on 1, 5, 13, and 16 (avoid par 3 and holes after par 3 if possible) PRO SHOP:  Hours open: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.  The Pro Shop will assist with contestants’ bags on arrival yes  The Pro Shop has a portable PA/microphone system yes  WGANC will provide cart signs with players’ names and tee assignments.  WGANC will provide alpha and pairing lists with tee assignments. Number of host club members needed to collect money: 2 . Amount to be collected from each player: $60.00  One Cash Box with change.  One 6-foot table for WGANC scorecards (no chairs).  Ready by: 6:30 a.m.  Location: Clubhouse Front Patio</p><p>SCORING WORKROOM  A quiet workroom is available in the Library FOOD SERVICE: Breakfast:  Breakfast will include: Scrambled Eggs; Apple-wood Smoked Bacon; Roasted Potatoes; Fresh Fruit and Berry Display; House Baked Muffins and Assorted Pastries; Orange Apple and Cranberry Juices; Coffee; Decaf Coffee; and Hot Tea.  Location: Grill  Time: 7:00 a.m. Bottled Water: Location: On carts 30 minutes prior to start time Lunch:  Lunch will include Sliced Grilled Chicken; Salad Buffet (Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Marinated Artichokes, Black Olives, Peppers, Baby Corn, Garbanzo Beans, Alfalfa Sprouts, Crumbled Blue Cheese, Jack & Cheddar Cheese Mix, Bacon, Sunflower Seeds, Ranch, Blue Cheese and Italian Dressings); Soup of the Day; Artisan Rolls and Butter; Double Chocolate Fudge Cake; Coffee; Decaf Coffee; and Iced Tea. Location: Conservatory  Time: 1:00 p.m.  Buffet   No-host bar available x yes .Payment by x Cash x Bill back to own Club x Credit card</p><p>Inclusive cost to players for breakfast, bottled water and lunch: $40.00  An alternate menu is available for those with dietary concerns: no  A podium and microphone are available in the dining room: yes  The Director will notify the Open Day Chair, Golf Pro and Food & Beverage Manager on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 (1 week in advance date) regarding the number of entries received, and will notify the Open Day Chair, Golf Pro and Food & Beverage Manager on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 (1 week before the tournament) the final non-cancellation count.  Tables should be set up in quantities of eight. DIC will provide table signs. Ask club if they can provide stanchions.</p><p>Granite Bay Open Day 1/22/16 3 WOMEN’S COMMITTEE:  Number of volunteers needed to: 2 Collect money from players for sweeps, carts, and meals. . Time: 7:00 a.m. . Amount to be collected from each player: $60.00 n/a Direct players to tee assignments. . Time: ______4 Spotters on holes 14,16 . Time: 8:15 a.m. 3 Pick up scorecards and deliver to computer room. . Time: 12:45 p.m. 1 Assist in awarding golf balls at lunch. . Time: 1:30 p.m. GENERAL</p><p> Dress Code – Must have either sleeves or a collar on their shirts. Bare midriff styles are not appropriate, including halter-tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, swimsuits, cutoff tops or any midriff-length shirt. Low-rise pants must have shirt tucked in or shirt must fall below the top of the pants. No denim, tennis, jogging, or exercise wear is allowed. Soft spikes only.  Players must adhere to the host club’s dress code both on the golf course and the premises of the club. The Pro Shop and/or the women’s 18-hole group of the host club will enforce the dress code, not WGANC.  Unless prohibited by the Host Club, cell phones can be used as a distance measuring device provided the only function of the device is for measuring distance. If the phone and “app” has the ability to measure wind, gradient or other functions, the phone cannot be used. Cell phones can be used, however, as a phone in cases of Emergency.  Location of restrooms on course: 5th tee, after 9 in the Ladies Locker Room, between 12 and 13, and at the Pro Shop  Special decorations are not necessary. Would volunteers please wear designated colors and name badges so that they may be identified as the local committee?
