<p>Arctic Weather Warning beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2017 Public Service Company of Colorado, an Xcel Energy Company Posted December 29, 2016</p><p>An extended arctic front bringing severe cold temperature is predicted beginning Tuesday January 3 rd for Colorado, as a storm system moves into the state. The forecast is predicted to drop to sub-zero low temperatures that may extend through the week. </p><p>Same-day nominations will be accepted Tuesday January 3 rd : Recognizing challenges presented by the Holiday nomination schedule, same-day nominations effective for Tuesday’s Gas Day usage will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 3rd. This means you can schedule gas until 10 AM Tuesday morning, to cover Tuesday’s Gas Day needs. After the extended 10 a.m. nomination deadline, PSCo will assess whether additional action, such as same-day Operational Flow Order, is required. </p><p>Shippers, please take action:  Use the extended nomination deadline to schedule additional gas beginning Gas Day Tuesday, January 3rd if required, to avoid significant under-delivery.  Do not rely on an imbalance bank to cover significant shortages.
