<p> Estimator</p><p>Astra, a Job Order Contractor, based in Georgia, is expanding and looking for candidates to fill the position of Estimator in Atlanta, Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for an Estimator with at least 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry. Candidates must have a strong personal drive, be a self-starter, and be able to manage multiple projects. </p><p>Skill requirements could include, but not be limited to:</p><p> Job Order Contracting experience a plus  E-Gordian experience a plus  Experience with projects $50K-$10 million each  Both hard bid and design/build conceptual estimating is required  Prepare and identify cost factors such as construction duration, materials and labor  Travel to jobsites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factors  Read blueprints/drawings and documents in order to prepare estimates  Prepare estimates and schedules  Prepares budget for project.  Demonstrates knowledge of plans and specifications.  Demonstrates knowledge of industry-related trades.  Meets or exceeds external and internal customer expectations.  Interfaces and maintains rapport with client, architect and owners.  Produces a high quality of work.  Presents a positive attitude about the Company and the job.  Is a team player.  Observes Company policies and procedures.  Observes Company safety rules and regulations.  Demonstrates solid computer skills.  College Degree or equivalent work experience.</p>
