Ich habe auf dich gewartet

For my first post, I wrote a short note about my experience during this summer break. As I need to write my first entry in past or past participle tense

(Vergangenheit), I tried to avoid using the present tense. The general formation of this first ePortfolio is story-telling based. Intro paragraph mainly describes the feelings I had after I have broken with my friend, Julie. Following three paragraphs briefly describes how I have met Julie and how our relationship went during this summer break. The last paragraph goes back what I have written on the first intro paragraph and ends with the feelings and thoughts I had at the end of this summer.

As most of the contents are based on the true, personal story, I first worried to write everything on my e-Blog. However, I have decided to write about this topic on my first entry because I wanted to describe my actual feelings and thoughts about Julie in German. It took much more time than I have expected because I have a little knowledge to use adequate German adjectives, nouns. In order to improve my proficiency in German, I think I need to read short stories or novels much more than now.

Even though it took much time to finish up my first ePortfolio, I could review the basic formation or usage in German as past and past participle tense. I am happy to revise what I have misunderstood and it was great opportunity for me to write down what I have felt in German during last summer break.
