If a reasonable 24 hours notice is not given, SFS will charge 50% of the time reserved (instructor & airplane) as a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are exempt if weather conditions are less than those outlined in the rental agreement. INITIAL CHECKOUT: A minimum of 1.0 hour of flight and 0.5 ground instruction covering airspace and the aircraft are required. A separate checkout is required for each type of aircraft flown; night and/or IFR operations. CURRENCY: FW: 1.0 hour logged flight time with at least three (3) takeoffs and landings to a full stop every sixty (60) days in the most complex tricycle gear aircraft. Currency in tail wheel requires a mini- mum of three (3) takeoffs and landings to a full stop every sixty (60) days regardless of other aircraft flown. Helicopter: 1.0 hour every 45 days to include three (3) takeoffs and landings with a circuit of the traffic pattern between landings. ALL DAY RENTAL: A minimum of three and a half (3.5) hours flight time required M-F for all day rental and four and a half (4.5) hours of flight time on weekends. BLOCK TIME: Block purchases of a minimum $1,500 (Airplane) and $2,000 (Helicopter) cash, debit, or check, yield a 5% credit add on; when using Credit Card, 2%. This program is not available to I-20 or other Non-U.S. Citizen Applicants. No membership fees and no clubs to join Rates are subject to change with 10 days notice.
