Besuras HaGeulah —Th e Rebbe here is alluding to a famous gimatriyah he mentioned earlier at this farbrengen (as is numerically valued at 348, and with an additional 10 (the שליח well as many other times) that משיח — ten soul-faculties — see Tanya chapter 3), we arrive at 358 which is the numerical values of " ְשׁ ַלח ָנא ְבַּיד ִתּ ְשׁ ָלח", -The Rebbe on the imminence of the Redemption Th is would be the fulfi llment of Moshe’s re quest from Hashem to “send now the one You will eventually send:” ַה ָשּׁ ִל ַיח ֶשׁ ְבּ ֵדוֹרנוּ – כ"ק מו"ח ַאְדמוֹ"ר ְנ ִשׂיא the primary shliach of our generation — my ֵדּוֹרנוּ – .Moshiach Through his SUCCESSOR sainted father-in-law, the Rebbe N’sie Doreinu Here, the Rebbe adds a clarifying line which sheds light on many similar statements: מח. חלק משיחות ש"פ חיי שרה, כ"ה מר-חשון, מבה"ח כסלו תשנ"ב (תרגום מאידית) ְוּכ ִפי ֶשׁ ָה ָיה ַבּדּוֹר ֶשׁ ְלּ ָפ ָניו, שכ"ק מו"ח ַאְדמוֹ"ר ,Just as it was in the previous generation 48. Furthermore: just as when a shliach invests his entire self — his ten soul-faculties — into his mission, he brings about Moshiach, similarly, * * * ְוּבַי ַחד ִﬠם ֶﬠ ֶשרׂ ַה ְּס ִפירוֹת – ֲהֵרי ַﬠ ְצמוּתוֹ ַוּמהוּתוֹ Hashem Himself, together with His ten ִו ִיהי ָרצוֹן, ֶשׁ ַﬠל- ְי ֵדי ֶשׁ ָכּל ָשׁ ִל ַיח ְי ַמ ֵלּא ֶאת -May it be Hashem’s will, that by every shl ְבּ ַﬠ ְצמוֹ, ְכּ ַבָיּכוֹל, הוּא ָמ ִשׁ ַיח ִצ ְד ֵקנוּ]: .as it were, is Moshiach Tzidkeinu , ַתּ ְפ ִקידוֹ ִבּ ְשׁ ֵלמוּת, ְבּ ָכל ֶﬠ ֶשׂר כּוֹחוֹת ַה ֶנּ ֶפשׁ, iach fulfi lling his mission perfectly, using all the ten faculties of his soul, Th is can also be explained in Kabbalistic terms: Exile is a state of Divine concealment, when G-dliness is not completely manifest in the world. Th e Redemption, by contrast, is a state of being ִוּב ְפָרט ֶשׁ ָכּל ַה ְשּׁ ִלוּחים ְיִת ַא ֲחדוּ ְו ָיִכּ ְנסוּ ָבּ ֶזה – especially since all the shluchim will — wherein all of Hashem’s “essence” is openly manifest in the world.
