Thailand State of Pollution Report 2007 examines the quality of water, air and noise, waste and hazardous chemicals, pollution complaints, environmental compliance and enforcement. The Report also highlights recent insights about the significant pollution incidents and environmental management occurring from January 1, to December 31, 2007. This published information has been obtained from various contributors such as Pollution Control Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Custom Department, Department of Disease Control, Department of Industrial Works, Damrongdrama Center (under the Ministry of Interior) and Office of Natural Resources and Environment Policy and Planning etc. The Pollution Control Committee would like to express its sincere appreciation to all relevant agencies and organizations for their supports in providing the information and comments.
