Fact Sheet 8: Events around Wembley Fact Sheet 8 Events around Wembley A word about Wembley The London Borough of Brent is fortunate to have one of the largest and best known sporting arenas in the country. Many events want to be located in or around Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena. Both the stadium and arena are privately owned venues and any event within them is a matter between the organiser and venue management. You may wish to make use of the streets and spaces around the stadium and arena for your event. These spaces are still privately owned land but they are available for events. These spaces include: Arena SquareThis is the space directly in front of the Wembley Arena. Olympic Way This is the wide pedestrianised roadway that runs between Wembley Park Underground station and Wembley Stadium Wembley Stadium Car Parks On non-event days these parking lots are empty and some can be used for events such as markets, fairs or circuses Wembley Stadium Square station (White Horse Bridge) The area by the British Rail Station, Wembley Stadium. There are very specific conditions to using the spaces around Wembley. This goes so far as to having conditions around using images of Wembley Stadium so filming or photographing the area for your event could be troublesome without permissions. Brent Council has a Wembley Marketing and Communication Manager, Prafula Shah, who can advise you on the various do’s and don’ts of holding event activities in this complex area. (2) the large open space next to the stadium bounded by Engineers Way and First Way • Wembley Stadium Square station The area by the British Rail station, Wembley Stadium, on the lower part of the map.
